No off-the-shelf ERP understood project-based manufacturing — so we built one for ourselves, ran our whole company on it, and opened it up when everyone who saw it asked for a copy.
Why ARKcelerate exists
Built on our own shop floor.
We run ARK Noise Control, a project-based manufacturing company — every order is engineered-to-order, with its own drawings, BOMs, customer approvals, fabrication, QC and on-site commissioning. When we went looking for an ERP to run it on, we hit the same wall every project shop hits: the big platforms are built for repetitive production and distribution. None of them handled what a project-based company actually needs.
So we built our own. We rolled it out across our entire company and retired the ERP we had been paying for. Every workflow in ARKcelerate is one we use ourselves, every single day — because it was designed by the people on the floor who needed it to work, not by a vendor guessing at our process.
Then word got out. People who saw it running — customers, suppliers, peers in other project-based businesses — found it so useful that they asked whether they could use it too. Enough of them asked that we turned our internal system into a product and made ARKcelerate available to other companies. It still runs our own factory first.
